We started out building restaurant websites. This is what was missing.
Stay Foodie was born inside StayCreative, an agency in Port de Pollença (Mallorca) that has spent years building websites for hotels and restaurants. Whenever a client asked about bookings, the only answer was to send them to a commission system. We did not enjoy giving it.
The maths does not work: paying a fee per diner punishes exactly the good months. The fuller the room, the more you pay — for bookings the restaurant often handles itself by phone or WhatsApp. That is when we decided to build something else.
Stay Foodie is what we wish we could have offered our clients ten years ago. Flat fee. No commissions. Design that doesn't shout. Serious languages. Human support, in Mallorca.
