We started on a terrace in Sóller with a notebook and a calculator.

Stay Foodie was born from StayCreative, a Palma agency that has been building websites for hotels and restaurants for fifteen years. Every time a client asked us about bookings, we'd tell them about TheFork. And we felt a bit ashamed.

On a Friday in March 2025, Joan — from Cas Mariner restaurant in Port de Sóller — showed us his invoice. €3,600 in commissions. For bookings he had answered himself on WhatsApp and dropped into a notebook. That's when we knew we had to build something else.

Stay Foodie is what we wish we could have offered our clients ten years ago. Flat fee. No commissions. Design that doesn't shout. Serious languages. Human support, in Mallorca.

Manifesto

Fee, not commission.

Charging per cover rewards whoever pays the tool and punishes whoever fills the room. It's unfair and we know it.

Your customers are yours.

Whoever comes to your restaurant isn't our lead. They're your guest. We treat them as such.

Design that doesn't shout.

A hospitality tool should feel like walking into a good restaurant. No emojis, no fluorescent badges.
